September Wedding in Golden, CO | Marissa + Nathan

When one of your dearest friends from high school says she'll fly you out for their wedding in Colorado you say "Heck, yes!" It was an absolute honor to be able to capture Marissa and Nathan's wedding day. It’s so clear these two are best friends and love each other deeply.

They met working as full-time staff at a camp in the mountains of Colorado. The became friends and fell in love through adventure and doing camp ministry together. The details of their day reflected their passion for camp and the outdoors from the ceremony's mountain backdrop at the Vista at Applewood to the adventure-themed postcards for guests to write notes to the bride and groom. Dustin and I fell in love doing camp ministry and seeing the camp "family" celebrate Marrisa and Nathan made us feel a little nostalgic. There were many happy tears and some beautiful words shared by family and friends.
